About this wine
Summer on the Mosel, in a glass. For the Holunder Secco, fresh elderflower blossoms are hand-picked around Winningen and cold-extracted to capture their delicate aroma, which is then married to a Riesling-based perlwein. With 17 g/l residual sugar it sits feinherb — off-dry but never sticky — kept honest by the river's fresh acidity. Bright, fragrant, gently sparkling, and unfussily elegant.
Tasting notes
Pale gold with a soft, persistent perlage. Fragrant elderflower opens onto sweet-and-tart nuances of pear, lime, and white peach. The palate is light-footed and refreshing, balancing a discreet sweetness with crisp Mosel acidity. A clean, animating finish — summery without being loud.
