On every bottle
Every bottle comes with a card
One side tells you what to eat with it and what it tastes like. The other side is empty — write a note and the bottle becomes a present.
The front
What to eat with it
Two dishes that work with this wine, two flavours you'll notice, and the right temperature to pour it. No wine-speak.
The back
Room for your note
Lines for a name, a few words and your signature. Have it sent straight to someone and they get a card you wrote, not a packing slip.
Included with every bottle.

Why it's on our shelf
I found H.Blin while looking for a house Champagne I could open on a weeknight without flinching. A 1947 cooperative from Vincelles in the Marne Valley — Vincelles literally means 'wine cellar' in Latin — 12 generations of Meunier growers, 70% of the blend from their home grape. Round, direct, and genuinely good at 91 from Wine Spectator and 92 from Suckling. Three bottles minimum.
